I worked with Yoga Today's executive producer to devise a referral program that took advantage of social media and email sharing. Any Yoga Today member could create an Ambassador ID, then invite others to join by facebook, e-mail, or twitter.
The campaign was supported by a social media push, email marketing, and various callouts throughout the site.
A web app was built into the user account environment and deployed with analytics in place to follow each ambassador's invitation activity. Users can track their referral history and watch their points accrue on their profile page.
Visual explanations ensured that the simple process was crystal clear.
